V-आ/ई + है (Have done)
For completed actions that still matter now — 'I have eaten', 'she has left'
Examples
वह आया है
He has come
वह आई है
She has come
Usage Notes
The difference from simple past (V-आ) is the addition of है. Simple past = it happened (done, story over). Present perfect = it happened and it's still relevant now.
वह गया (he went — he's gone, that's the story) vs. वह गया है (he has gone — meaning he's still away right now).
