V-ओ / V-इए / V (Commands)
For telling someone to do something — 'come here', 'please sit', 'go'
Examples
यहाँ आ
Come here (intimate, तू)
यहाँ आओ
Come here (casual, तुम)
यहाँ आइए
Please come here (formal, आप)
Usage Notes
The formality level matters a lot. Using the तू form with a stranger or elder is rude. When in doubt, use the आप form (V-इए) — it's always safe.
For negative commands, use मत (don't): मत जाओ (don't go). Using नहीं instead of मत with an imperative sounds unnatural.
