V-कर / V-के (After doing)
Connects two actions in sequence — 'after eating, he slept' or 'having done X, then Y'
Example
खाना खाकर सो गया
Having eaten, he slept
Usage Notes
Extremely common in everyday Hindi. You can chain several together: उठकर, नहाकर, खाकर निकला (got up, bathed, ate, and left).
V-कर and V-के are interchangeable — V-के is slightly more colloquial. Both mean "having done V, then...".
